Happy Earth Day!

“The nation that destroys its soil destroys itself.” –President Franklin Roosevelt

Today is one of my favorite days of the whole year! This weekend has been a whole lot of earth love, education, and plain fun!

Besides the amazing, wonderful workshop on Saturday, my family spend the day yesterday at the Cleveland Zoo for “Party for the Planet” Earth Day event and it was so much fun! My daughter loves animals and they had all kinds of programs going on throughout the day – from conversation and recycling to Meet the Keepers, nature crafts and cooking demonstrations, it was the perfect way to connect with kids and spend the day with all the animals.

Today is a new day and I woke up feel so energized and hopeful. I hope we all can make a new commitment this year to be better stewards on this wonderful planet and help spread the earth love! This is the only world we have and we need to take a stand to protect and cherish it. If each of us won’t do our own personal part to lower our impact on the environment, then who will?  The time is NOW!

Peace and lots earth love!
