Be Gentle With Yourself

I love the idea of being “gentle” with yourself. I am the first to admit I have a type-A personality and I’m overly spazzy about making sure everything is perfect, which only brings stress and anxiety to my life. But it’s something I’ve been working on letting go and living more freely over the past couple of years. Becoming a mother has evolved me, creating a new lifestyle that I never expected. I have to go with the flow and understand that life is messy and there is nothing wrong with that!

Being gentle conjures up forgiveness and a nurturing patience with myself. Knowing that it’s ok for me to take chances, make mistakes and not beat myself up when things don’t go as planned. It’s having a peace within myself about knowing and loving the person that I am and not looking to be someone I am not.
